UYSA defines that a “Recreation League” means a League with the following characteristics: (1) the use of tryouts, invitations, recruiting, or similar process to roster players to a Team is prohibited; (2) the League accepts as participants any eligible youths subject to reasonable terms on registration; and (3) League rules require that each player must play at least one-half of each game except for reasons of injury, illness, or discipline.

Volunteers:

Coaches: Coaches are recruited on a voluntary basis. Coaches must participate in a mandatory meeting to pick up schedules, rosters, go over rules, and the few changes this year.

KICKS relies on volunteer coaches to provide a positive environment where players can learn basic soccer skills and increase confidence through team participation.  Please help us continue to grow our league by volunteering to coach your child's team.

Philosophy: As part of Southern Utah Soccer Association, KICKS is dedicated to providing a FUN and developmentally appropriate soccer environment for children.  KICKS relies on the support of quality volunteers to keep costs at a minimum.  KICKS makes every effort to form teams by age and location in which players live.  KICKS follows the guidelines for recreation soccer set by Utah Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer.  KICKS operates under the simple belief that children learn by playing. Every child plays virtually 100% of the time in practices and a minimum of 50% of the time allotted in games.
