General Information

Season Dates: September 6th thru November 15th.

Cost: $65 - includes your uniform.

Game Days: Mostly Saturdays - except UEA Weekend

Fields: Dixie State College Encampment Mall.

Play Level: Recreational w/volunteer coaches.

Team Size: Depends on age and the number of kids that sign up. Small sized teams ensure that every child gets more play time with the ball!! A guide is below. From 3v3 to 8v8.

Ages: You must be at least 3 years old on 8/1/2008 and not yet 19 years old.

Team Requests: We will continue to honor team requests wherever possible and to form teams by neighborhood. However, we cannot guarantee any requests. If you'd like to form your own team from your neighborhood, please turn in applications together in one packet, and email us to follow up! kickssoccerregistrar@gmailcom

Coaches: We offer a free 2 hour clinic with a licensed, professional coach. It is an awesome experience and provides much more than the basic team management instructions. Please come and improve your skills as a parent/coach so that you can help your kids improve their skills! Date and Time TBA on our website!

Volunteers: KICKS relies on volunteer parents to make the magic happen. We want to provide a place where all kids can learn to play and then gain the confidence and the desire to keep improving! Please help us continue that quest by volunteering to coach or to be otherwise involved with the team and the league.

Registration Events:
June 21st from 12-5 at Boulevard Home Furnishings (use the drop box at the greeter's desk anytime!)

Philosophy: Southern Utah Soccer Association is dedicated to providing a FUN, yet challenging and supportive soccer environment for children in the Southern Utah region. Southern Utah Soccer Association is professionally managed but relies on the support of volunteers to keep its cost low and its value high. Southern Utah Soccer Association prides itself in offering the most enjoyable and rewarding soccer experience for our players, coaches and families in the Southern Utah Area. Teams will be formed by age and location in which players live. Kids may play with their friends and neighbors. KICKS follows the guidelines for recreation soccer set by Utah Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer. KICKS operates under the simple belief that kids learn by playing. Every child plays virtually 100% of the time in practices and at least 50% in games. The Southern Utah Soccer Association is dedicated to providing a developmentally appropriate and fun-filled environment.

Please Note: Interest in Recreation soccer tends to fade as kids get older. Most players either choose to play at a competitive level or they focus their time on other activities. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the brackets for kids in the U13 and older age-groups. But we'd love to help you look for a competitive team, so please sign up, and keep in email contact as we find the best solution! U11's and U12's are usually AOK! See you this fall!
